Into the Woods

Audition details:
Private auditions held every 15 min. Arrive at The Ritz 30 minutes early to register and complete your paperwork. Be prepared to disclose all scheduling conflicts for rehearsal process and show run (May-July). Bring a headshot and resume.
Prepare a one-minute monologue of your choice AND a song in the style of Into the Woods that showcases your vocal and acting ranges. CD and smart phone connections will be available, or you may bring your own accompanist.
Principal roles are for 7-8 men and 10-11 women with a mixed adult ensemble. *Adults ages 16-26 are given preference for SummerStock casting.

Into the Woods is a journey through some classic and beloved fairy tales with a Grimm twist. Full of Sondheim’s signature witty lyrics and captivating melodies, Into the Woods is a fan favorite and one of Broadway’s best. Familiar childhood characters will make you laugh, cry, and think twice before you make a wish.
