June 1 - July 2
Emergence is a new juried show at the Tennessee Valley Museum Art.
This spring, we put out a call for submissions, seeking artists who are working in unique ways, pushing creative processes to the breaking point, and have something important to express through their work. About 75 artists from all over the United States submitted artwork, and our jurors (Stacey Holloway, Darius Hill, and Wayne Sides) chose the best, most innovative work from these submissions to be included in the show. Don’t miss this opportunity to get a glimpse of the future of art, through the eyes of some of the country’s most talented emerging artists.
Admission for the museum is $5 for adults, $3 for students, and free for members. We also offer free admission this year to education, healthcare, and first responder workers as part of our Arts for the Frontline program, sponsored by Bank Independent and E.S. Robbins.
