Learn how to cook your own delicious Indian food with this demonstration and tasting with Prema Monteiro, Professor of the Jeff Eubanks Culinary Arts Management Program at the University of North Alabama. The event will last approximately 90 minutes-2 hours. Ms. Monteiro will discuss and demonstrate the preparation of a three-course Indian meal:
• Onion Pakoda with Green Chutney (gluten free, crispy onion fritters, with cilantro-based sauce)
• Chana Masala with Pooris (Garbanzo beans in an eclectic blend of Indian spices served with fried bread)
• Rice Kheer (cardamom infused Indian rice pudding)
