View the video exhibition Odyssey of the Black Spirit and discuss it with other community members at this event at the TVMA. In the video exhibition, guests can see and hear artists’ response to the question “How do you see divinity within African American people?” After the viewing, two of the exhibition’s artists, Lee Murkey and Kerrigan Casey, will talk about Black spirituality and its history in this country and will help lead an open discussion on the topic and exhibition.
Please note that this video exhibition does include adult content.
Entry to the museum is $5 for adults, $3 for students, and free for TVAA members. Education, healthcare, and first response workers also get free entry as part of our Arts for the Frontline program, sponsored by Bank Independent and E.S. Robbins.
