Plein air is the act of painting in the outdoors with a full, open view of your subject, whether it’s a landscape or structure. The Tennessee Valley Art Association welcomes professional artist Amy R. Peterson for an all-day plein air workshop. The workshop will be conducted outdoors, and will feature 2 live demonstrations, one on one instruction, & group critique at the end of day. The workshop is limited to 10 students. Students will need to furnish their own supplies. Students can choose any paint medium, although Amy’s instruction will be geared toward oil. Click here for a PDF of the suggested supply list.
